We the people will no longer tolerate a broken system. Lawmakers have proven for decades that they no longer represent the people they serve. Under new reform, they will be permitted to draft new laws for the people to vote on. These proposals are to be written in plain English so that everybody may understand.
Along with this reform, the senate is to be dissolved since it does not represent the people in a balanced manner. Congressmen will see their pay drop to the GS-05 level on the federal scale, with promotions being voted by the people.
The final stage is to strip power from the president. Under the new system, there is no room for one person to overturn the will of the people.
