Senator Burr and Senator Feinstein should be held responsible for endangering American digital privacy and security for their encryption bill. This bill will guarantee that American citizens will have the worst encryption than the rest of the world. This bill will require data to be stored in a matter that is more vulnerable to hackers and identity thieves. The bill will lead to unintended consequences. The bill will not only force the companies of America to take in government prioritization, but create opportunities for criminals seeking to harm customers. This not only can effect the customers, but the companies as customers will take non-U.S. companies, in which will take from global competitiveness. Neither senator has proven they're capable of protecting the public's interests.
