Strive To Regain Our Freedoms: Tell The Government To End Fractional Reserve Lending and Stop Borrowing

The way that our government acquires money is unsustainable and is the root of virtually every scourge on our nation, from inflation and unemployment to war and homelessness and above all, the erosion of our civil liberties. With the practice of fractional reserve lending, private banks create money --- every single dollar in existence --- out of thin air, then lend it to the government at an interest rate. This causes two incredibly destructive and completely unnecessary problems: debt and inflation. According to President Reagan's 1984 Grace Commission Report, 100% of tax revenues go to paying interest before even one cent is spent on government services. Tell the government to stop borrowing, end fractional reserve lending and revert to a debt-free currency just as Lincoln did.
