The United States House Committee on Science, Space and Technology is currently led by climate change deniers Lamar Smith (Chairman), Dana Rohrabacher (Vice Chairman), and Ralph Hall (Chairman Emeritus). These men, lacking any scientific credentials, refer to SCIENTIFICALLY evidenced global warming as "Climategate."
There is no uncertainty or scandal regarding climate change. This leadership would have the public believe in a grand conspiracy perpetuated by 97% of climate scientists. The 5/29/14 hearing convened by this Committee rejected the recent UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change report warning of severe drought and heat waves to come, dismissing it as "alarmist."
This Committee has no place for the dangerous misinformation disseminated by these men. Please oust them!
