DEFINITION of marriage: The institution whereby a man & a woman are joined together for a social & legal dependence for the purpose of founding & maintaining a family. Read, Genesis 2 : 22-25, & Jesus talking in Mark 10: 6-9 "from the beginning of creation, God made them male & female. "For this reason a man shall leave his father & mother, and the two shall become one flesh." The Gays & Lesbians need to come up with a different word & definition for their joined union as couples. This issue is extremely important to conservatives, and even moderates. Possibly they would be more inclined to meet the Obama Administration half-way on other issues, if Marriage is protected for whom it was intended.
