Given the history of the neighboring Arab states, we completely support Israel's right to self-defense and recognize that the unilateral creation of a palestinian state would damage any efforts towards a peaceful resolution and probably backfire to create another militant Islamic nation in the region, similar to what happened with Hamas in Gaza.
To this end, we respectfully request that the United States does everything in its power to prevent this travesty from occurring.
