It is Dec.26th and I am looking at the list of Grand Ole' opry members found on the opry site and I found something startling Make no mistake, there are a lot of fine artists on this list but there is one name missing and this omission needs to be corrected posthaste! That name Is George Strait!! Mr. Strait has been and is considered the King of Country Music. Even other Country Music artists have said that Mr. Strait is the King of Country Music!! In 2006, Mr. Strait was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame but, as of 2014, he IS NOT a member of the Grand Ole' Opry? Man, What a slap in the face. How is that even possible? Mr. Strait HAS done more to bring country music to people the world over and he has probably done it longer than some of the current members.
