Sttart taxing U.S. based corporations who utilize a foreign labor force or outsource their manufacturing

Created by A.G. on September 24, 2011

We have become a nation that relies on cheap imported goods. Build it cheaper, sell it cheaper, and maximize profit margins is the name of the game. Corporations have sold out our labor force to other countries in order to make this happen.

When will we realize that we need to make it less lucrative for corporations to send jobs overseas? When will we realize that people wouldn't need to rely on government assistance if we didn't send their job somewhere else? We need to tax imported goods and tax the companies that outsource their labor. This tax revenue should be collected from the corporation and paid into unemployment benefits, WIC, and a government healthcare option to help the unemployed and under employed survive. Stop bailing out large corporations and start bailing out Americans!
