I would like to see the Obama administration work with the necessary institutions to create a student debt to home ownership conversion program that would allow qualifying students to roll their student loan debt into a home mortgage with favorable terms and a significant tax break. A plan like this would give debt ridden students a real chance to own a home and the housing market would receive a sorely needed boost.
