Direct Student Loans and Parent Plus Loans credit requirements are extremely stringent. We recently applied for a Parent Plus Loan and denied due to one $35.00 medical bill. Yes, that is thirty-five dollar medical bill. We will, of course, pay it immediately.
How many students will not get to attend college due to 20, 30, or $35.00? We need student friendly loans again. We want to approve education but yet we allow prohibitive laws to the same ideas that we purport to embrace. Will a college education return to the past and be available only to the families that can afford one?
Our daugher plans to be an educator. I would like to hear from all persons in regard to the student loan fiasco's that they may have recently encountered.
