Student Loan Rate Change

All Student Loans – Subsidized, Unsubsidized and Direct Plus Loans.
Students attending college, which includes state university, private colleges, community colleges or trade schools, will be able to borrow money at the rate banks borrow money from the Federal Reserve Discount Window.

This would be retroactive to all outstanding student loans (include past student loans).

As of today, July 12, 2013, the current interest rate primary credit rate is 0.75% (less than 1%).
