Student loan relief for disabled vets that couldn't continue school because of their disability.

Created by B.D. on August 08, 2014

We have soldiers that have been injured in Iraq and Afghanistan and diagnosed with TBI and other serious medical problems. When these soldiers get back to the states and try to better their lives by going to school but find that their memory isn't what it was or there are difficulties that were unexpected, they find themselves in student loan debt for an education that should have been possible. These soldiers may even be going to school because they can't find a job and so school becomes the only way to support their family. In the end they can't continue due to their inability to succeed based on there injuries. These soldiers now have an added burden on their lives and they have no recourse. We ask that the VA be given the funds to identify these soldiers and relieve their debt.
