As a retired person who has been repaying student loans since 1998 I can assure you that the dream for a better life by furthering your knowledge in now hurting million of Americans I strongly believe that if this Government would reduce the interest rates and forgive student loans by 50% to the million of Americans young and old who are now struggling in this plummeting economy there would be a noticeable difference in how much money the American people can re invest into our economy. I am a home owner currently on a Disability Retirement and I know I would invest more if I only had more.
