The world's bee population is declining at alarming rates. At its current decline, the implications for the future could be catastrophic. The causes for this decline are currently a matter of debate due to lack of real and concerted effort to understand the issue. Recent academic studies point to toxic pesticides. Other stated causes focus on diseases or mites. We call upon our elected officials to take steps to fully understand and face this concern with the seriousness it requires.
