A Study to Determine the true Sporting Uses that are currently practiced with many AR15 Style Weapons.

In the current political climate, there are many that want to ban all AR15 style weapons. Claims that they are made only for war, for killing people, and all have no sporting use are spread across the major media outlets. This is in fact not true. Currently in many states and with many hunting organizations and clubs, AR15 Style weapons in .223 caliber are used for small game hunting such as Prairie Dogs, Wood Chucks, Rock Chucks, Coyote, and many other small game. AR15 style weapons in .308, .260, 6.8 caliber are used for feral pigs and bore hunting, Deer, and other small game. There are many manufacturers and calibers ranging from 22 rimfire to .308 caliber. I believe a comprehensive study WILL show and establish that there IS a sporting use for these weapons.
