Study, fund and consider a vehicle-miles tax to continue to invest in infrastructure and close the funding/spending gap.

The gas tax is outdated, doesn't adequately fund the countries transportation needs and hurts the lowest income people the most. Alternatives like the VMT needs to be studied and considered.
