Study the use of SSRIs and other antidepressants by the individuals responsible for mass killings in the US.

Created by M.J. on May 28, 2014

We seek to discover or eliminate factors which may contribute to the occurrence of "mass violence" attacks in the US.

One popular theory is that the individuals responsible for these attacks share in the active use of Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors (SSRIs) or other antidepressants which invoke violent behavior. If a non-biased study can be conducted and found to be conclusive, it will either discover or eliminate one realistic possibility.

Given the prolific involvement of pharmaceutical companies in the campaign contributions of all political parties, motivating action from our government will be a daunting task.
