Government Legislation and Executive Orders must be subject to the same level of oversight, accountability, legality, and analysis that other federal agencies must endure when making policy decisions. Legislation passed by the government is often challenged in the courts and found to be unconstitutional or have unconstitutional elements. One reason for this is that there is no oversight and analysis of legislation put forward prior to our elected officials voting on it, and there is no personal accountability or liability for public officials who choose to vote for, advocate, and sign unconstitutional legislation. Congressmen, Senators, the Vice President, and President should be required to carry personal liability insurance and take personal responsibility for the decisions they make.
