A constitutional amendment requiring a balanced US budget will stop the out-of-control spending of our future tax monies by our government. This must include a provision to pay down any outstanding debt in even annual increments over the next 20 years.
Corporate control over our government has allowed uncontrolled spending through their lobbyists, threatening our economic power world-wide, devaluing our dollar, making most of us poorer and our nation less secure.
This must be a constitutional amendment so that future lawmakers/lobbyists can not easily change it.
