We Petition the President of the United States to submit a bill to Congress for the purpose of awarding General of the Army Dwight David Eisenhower U.S. Army (deceased) the Congressional Medal of Honor commiserative with the one Awarded to General of the Army Douglas McArthur for service and actions performed in a theater of war during the Second World War. We believe the contributions of this officer to the final victory over the Axis Forces warrant the highest possible military decoration. We believe further that the Congress of the United States has not been afforded the opportunity to consider this matter properly and vote on General of the Army Eisenhower eligibility for the nations highest military award.
