Submit to Congress an Amendment to the Constitution to lower the legal age to run and assume any federal office to 18.

Taxation without representation. Our country started a revolution on this principle, but for 240 years the youth of this nation has been afflicted by the same discrimination the British inflicted on Americans. As young Americans, our voice goes unheard in Congress and the White House because we ourselves can't participate in government. Voting for a candidate is no longer enough of a choice. We should be allowed to run for all federal office positions starting at the age of 18. It's time to start a youth revolution in this country and allow young people the chance to write their own future rather than inheriting the future our for-bearers passed on to us.
