Our government has reached a point of continual gridlock. Much of this has to do with the ability of Congress members to repeatedly run for office and shore up a power base over time. Congressional term limits are one way to break this stranglehold. I suggest we limit Representatives to 8 years total time served and Senators to 12 years total.
