As U.S. citizens, we are constantly faced with economic crises after economic crises both nationally and locally due to the majority of Americans being underpaid and underemployed. It is time for action. The American people deserve a livable wage for themselves, their families and their communities. We need both the President and Congress to show solidarity to those unable to earn a living wage by submitting to a pay-cut until every American is able to earn a respectable income. And we can get this done right away.
