Submit legislation to Congress that sets the pay of elected officials in congress to the national average

Members of Congress are paid many times that of the average of an American citizen, and as servants of the citizenry members of congress should not waste tax payer money for any other purpose other than the benefit of the american people, and never for the acquisition of luxury items.
