The proposed legislation would mandate that all oil and/or gas exploration operations and all manufacturing and other industries recycle and/or reuse Hazardous Wastes/Chemicals produced as a by product of their operations or processes within a fifteen year time table.
Said mandate would be gradually implemented. The legislation would provide opportunities for the creation of new technology, create cleaner air, less toxic exposure to hazardous wastes by rail, water contamination, or transportation accident.
It would also reduce respiratory disease and health complications due to exposure to Hazardous Chemicals. It would help industry reduce industrial accidents and provide for a cleaner environment-- and create hundreds of thousands of JOBS!
This is a win-win opportunity.
