Created by M.C. on October 26, 2011

Veteran Business Owners who pay rent and associated fees that are above 40% of gross sales receive a subsidy to cover costs that are above 40% of gross sales that relate to the "storefront". Veteran Business owners who use the subsidy to add workforce at 10 hrs/week will receive an additional 5% rebate for each 10 hrs/week hired with a maximum rebate/subsidy of 25%.
EX. Gross sales are $6,000 and the total rent is $3000 the subsidy would be $600.00.(6000x40%=2400-3000=600)
If 1 new employee was hired to work at least 10 hrs/ week, the rebate would be $900 (6000x35%=2100-3000=900).
2 employees at 10 hrs/week; or 1 employee at 20 hrs/week, the rebate/subsidy would be $1200. (6000x30%=1800-3000=1200) $600 Rent subsidy and $600 "payroll" rebate are paid to Veteran. About $7.50/hr
