Subsidize Bacon

Created by M.H. on November 12, 2013

The federal government currently spends an estimated $1.6 billion on brussel sprouts and chicken subsidies, but a paltry $200 million on pig raising and associated bacon production activities. The time to fight for one of the greatest products in the free world is now. Please join us in recommending that the president increase bacon subsidies to $4 billion, lowering the average price of bacon by $2.50 and generating over $20 billion from bacon sales abroad.
As we all know, the fruit on the tree in the Garden of Eden that Eve was coerced into eating was bacon. God realized what would happen once we got our hands onto these delectable morsels porky goodness. But now that our greasy hands are all over the stuff why not make it as accessible as possible.
Stand for freedom, stand for bacon.
