Seeing as the hemp industry went out with the Marijuana Tax Stamp Act of 1937, and marijuana has had a recent surge in publicity and legality, it is "high" time we open our shores to the lucrative business of hemp cultivation! The manufacture of hemp based products, including, but not limited to, hemp cord, rope, oils, plastics, and pharmaceutical drugs that could help either the treatable or untreatable ill all could make money and help the jobless, and inspire that good old American ingenuity. Any industry (that is taxed) has a place in the United States, the hemp industr should have a place in the American polity.
