The State of Washington does not charge sales tax for gun safes, making them more affordable and allowing more gun owners to secure their weapons, effectively keeping more guns out of the hands of criminals. This can easily be accomplished via a 10% cost subsidy offsetting the cost of gun safes throughout the US. (WA has a sales tax of 9.4%. I rounded up to 10% for ease of calculation.)
