Substantially reduce our military budget. No one appointed us to be the international police force. We do not need to have troops stationed in hundreds of countries around the world. We do not need to purchase fighter aircraft that cost $135 million each. Our Department of Defense should be just that, a Department of Defense.
Take the trillions saved by these budget reductions and spend the money here in the USA on social programs, infrastructure repair and improvements, education, and job creation.
