suggest a bill to Congress that would place one trained police officer on premises of every public school in America.

It is idealistic to think real gun reform in this country will happen anytime soon. It is also foolish to think that teachers with guns would solve school shootings. Therefor, instead of doing either, protect our children and our rights by creating 100,000 new jobs.

There are (as of 2009-10) 98,817 public schools (nces.ed.gov) in america. Some schools have a trained Police Officer on premesis already. Assuming that none do, placing 1 police officer in each building at 40K a year equates to $3.9 Billion/year.

Assuming also that roughly 150 million of all 300 million americans are required to pay federal taxes, this works out to a little more than $26/person/year.

Federal or State controlled, it doesn't matter. It's a small tax hike that can save lives, protect rights and create jobs
