Summit to Discuss the Violent Actions Between Police Departments and Communities

Created by K.P. on July 17, 2016

Given the current state of affairs between brave police officers and law abiding communities, a summit shall be convened at the White House to seek solutions to curb the violence that has become a threat to the national security of the nation. This summit will include representatives of law enforcement, community groups, faith based groups, and the media. The objective of this summit is to 1) seek solutions to curb the gun violence within the country within the confines of the Constitution, 2) using federal funds to increase police training as it relates to community policing, 3) the role the media plays in escalating the fears in the country, and 4) building trust between the police departments and the communities they serve.
