supply public schools with more government funding to increase the quality of the education system as a whole.

Created by T.L. on October 05, 2014

The government should provide more funding to public education to ensure that students receive the proper knowledge necessary to succeed post-graduation. According to Kayleigh Skinner's "Senator calls for Mississippians to sign petition for fully-funded education" she states that "Some education advocates in Mississippi say a lack of funding is to blame for the state’s under-performing education system." This problem is relevant not only in Mississippi, but in other states as well. If the government fully funded schools, then school systems would be able to purchase more testing materials that would allow for higher passing and graduation rates. If the government would spend less money on our military and foreign aid, they could spend more on public education systems across the country.
