supply safe water to the people of Flint, Michigan. Take emergency action to save them from lead poisoning.

Created by B.G. on January 10, 2016

Flint Michigan switched their water supply from un-leaded to leaded 18 months ago. The people of Flint are suffering from widespread lead poisoning, demonstrated from blood tests and clinical examinations, according to analysts with experience in medicine and environmental science. They have been sounding the alarm for months.

According to the Mayo Clinic: "Even small amounts of lead can cause serious health problems.. Children under the age of 6 are especially vulnerable to lead poisoning, which can severely affect mental and physical development. At very high levels, lead poisoning can be fatal."

The people of Flint need (1) emergency access to safe water (2) medical intervention to reverse the effects of lead poisoning and (3) a municipal water system that supplies safe water.
