The Ukrainian Air force has taken a lot of losses in the attempt to rid their country of intruders. The venerable A-10 warthog is one of the toughest planes ever conceived for combat in close quarters. The plane's reputation as a tank killer is second to none. Since the warthog is to stand down soon and be replaced. I petition the government to send a squadron of these planes to the Ukraine for their use instead of scrapping them and melting them down. Kind of like the lend lease program of WW2. We help these people to defend their country now in a little way to prevent WW3 or we spend billions of dollars and millions of lives in hind sight. I served in the Military.
Freedom is never free it is paid for in blood. Sadly the people of Ukraine are learning this lesson the hard way.
