Mr. President do not use your office and recent events to supersede the Constitution. The right of the people to keep and bear arms is not a political football. Support the Constitution as written to enforce and dramatically increase the penalties for gun crimes. Use the tenants of the Constitution to reinforce the rights of the people. A disarmed population is subject to tyranny. The people of the United States of America will not stand for tyranny at home when we fight it abroad.
