It has come to the attention of the public that the police forces of our cities, states and even the federal policing agencies, are becoming increasingly militarized. Laws are being passed to bypass or limit the rights of a citizen to protection from unreasonable search and siezure. Additionally citizens can and have been held without charge under the US Patriot Act, without ever being charged or having a lawyer present during questioning.
Police increasingly seem to have a shoot first and ask questions latter attitude, and this is systemic to the militarized police forces. Police who have begun seeing the American People as "Suspect" and not "Citizen."
I ask that the White House limit the militarization of domestic and federal police forces immediately.
