25.8 million children and adults in the United States have diabetes and many of them do not have access to diabetes educators who can help them manage their diabetes. H.R. 1274/S. 945, the Access to Quality Diabetes Acts of 2013 will provide many Americans access to diabetes educators, in addition to saving approximately two billion dollars in the next ten years.
