Support amending the U.S. Constitution to change the United States Congress from a full time body to a part time one.

Created by P.H. on December 27, 2012

By changing the two houses of Congress from a full time to a part time body; it is intended to remove the potential lobbying influences which may run counter to the public good. Also by moving legislators to part time status; they would be forced to retain other employment. This would have the effect of forcing the members to live by the laws they pass as well as the regulations passed by agencies they oversee. This would end a legislature that is far removed from the constituencies they represent; as well as sparing taxpayers the wasted time and money spent on the petty bickering that never seems to end.
