Created by B.B. on October 31, 2011

Campaign contributions are a vital part of the election process. Large donations to political campaigns now dominate US elections. This violates the "one person one vote" principle as ordinary citizens are unable to make large donations.

Support amending the US Constitution to limit contributions to campaigns for elected office to individual US Citizens. Corporations, organizations, and foreign interests are explicitly prohibited from making such contributions.

Additionally the US Congress may enact laws regulating contributions to candidates running for federal office. States may enact laws regulating contributions in elections within their state.
