For too long Cable providers have had complete control over what is broadcast into the homes of American consumers. In the last several years the costs of this service has skyrocketed, while the race for ratings have lead to raunchy new lows.
We as consumers must be given the right to "vote with our feet" by choosing which programing we will not support. Consumers often only watch less than 15 channels, however they are forced to pay for over 100 channels. This forces consumers to not only pay for services they don't want, but often forces them to pay for services they may be morally, religiously, or politically opposed to.
The time for change has come. American consumers demand to be given the choice to pay for their television channels an an a la carte basis.
