Support American light bulb and lighting industry by outlawing sunshine

Created by D.W. on October 06, 2011

The sun currently enjoys an unprecedented monopoly on raw materials for the manufacture of luminescence, including 99.99% of the solar system's hydrogen and 99.98% of its helium. The sun's environmental regulations are weak at best: reports have indicated that at any given time practically all of the sun is, in fact, on fire. Coupled with its incredible economies of scale, 24/7 production platform and virtually non-existent labor regulations, it unfairly captures an incontestable global market share in the production and distribution of visible light, and many other commonly utilized spectra of electromagnetic radiation. Cheap sunshine is dumped in US markets daily, an act of economic aggression which costs lighting companies millions in lost revenue and harms our postrecession recovery
