When politicians need over a billion dollars to get elected there are other motives at work. Are politicians and lawmakers going to be loyal to the American people or the people and corporations giving them millions and billions to get elected?
American should demand that all campaigns be publically funded so average American's can get elected to office.
Lawmakers should not be influenced by lobbists and be obligated to create bills to fund their special projects and create tax credits for their long term benefit.
All bills should be clean, meaning no pork and addressing a single issue. A simple and clear statement should outline the pros and cons of passing the bill. No 1,000 page bills.
America is ran by those with the most money and participate. The key is for the majority to vote.
