Support and endorse the Senate request to form a Joint Select Committee to investigate the Benghazi terrorist attack

Created by M.K. on November 15, 2012

Due to the oversight responsibilities of the Department of Defense, State Department, and Central Intelligence agency being divided between multiple Senate Committees, the administration should fully support and endorse the creation of a Senate Joint Select Committee to investigate the causes, failures, and responsibilities for the Benghazi Terror attacks on September 11, 2012.

Joint Select Committees have been common practice for major events within our history. Joint Committees were created for investigations into Sept 11, 2001, the Watergate Scandal, and the Iran-Contra affair. Due to the importance of getting the facts surrounding the Benghazi terrorist attacks on Sept 11, 2012, the White House should fully support and endorse the creation of a Joint Select Committee to investigate.
