Currently many products such as software, video games, and electronics require the owner to agree to licensing agreements before being able to use the product. Much of these exceedingly long and onerous "shrink wrap agreements" are hidden to the consumer until after purchase. Further a customer not accepting the agreement is rarely made whole when attempting to return the product.
To better inform consumers of the requirements to use a purchases, the packaging of the product should carry the text of the use agreement. Then a consumer at the time of purchase can evaluate the agreement to make an informed purchase.
Additionally when a licensing agreement changes after purchase a consumer opting out should be made whole. For original purchase price, all in-game purchases, shipping, etc..
