Many unemployed American citizens have long ago exhausted their unemployment benefits. The dearth of available jobs, the recessive economy, and outright discrimination against the long-term unemployed have many good people disheartened and destitute. Most economists agree that getting funds into the hands of the unemployed may be the most effective means to stimulate our economy.
