Dear Mr President,
Thank you for taking the time to reading our petition.
With much urgency, we hereby request that you to propose a Balanced Budget Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.
Mr President, you once told the American people that President Bush's spending was "unpatriotic", a credit card from the bank of China in our children's names; but Congress continues the practice to this day.
Americans are struggling to pay for basic needs, while our government creates conditions making inflation so high that milk has risen from $1.50/gal to $5.00/gal. It is not fair to working Americans to have to carry the weight of this inflation via higher prices for all basic needs .
