Washington, for too long, has spent more than what they are receiving. This progression into a deeper and deeper national debt is bad to our economy and to the people. Our national debt, which is in the trillions, is dangerous and risky for businesses and creates a sense of instability. This Balanced Budget Petition will ask for the support of the Obama Administration to do all in their power to help restore fiscal responsibility to the federal government.
According to the Pew Research Center (http://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2013/10/09/5-facts-about-the-nation...), our national debt is about the same as our GDP.
