We petition the Obama administration to support a bill requiring all citizens of the United States to renounce any additional citizenship they may possess. As a consequence of acquiring US citizenship, new citizens should be required to renounce citizenship with their home countries. We believe that citizens must swear unfettered allegiance to the United States, and renouncing their original citizenship, or acquired citizenship with another country, demonstrates their dedication to the United States of America.
