People are very sensitive about what they eat. Genetic modification is in my opinion, a risky technology. Certainly we should not ignore the technology, for we want to master it, and understand more about the world and ultimately ourselves... but we should move with caution. We've already pushed a lot of GM crops onto the soil, but we could easily grow GM crops with hydroponics, for the safety of our soil; And with new solar power grids? I'm trying to be brief, but my point is that these technologies need not be shunned, but consumers want to know, and we need an open discussion about these technologies to occur; To rebuild trust in everyone's hearts. It is no secret that Monsanto has a deep and unpopular history.
